* Florence-Darlington Tech 13, Monroe 4
- The Stingers overpowered Monroe in the deciding game of the East District championship series to advance to Junior College World Series in Grand Junction, Colo., later this month.

Coach Preston McDonald's team scored three runs in the first inning and two in the second to take charge.

Devin Mitchell had three hits and drove in five runs for Tech (51-10). The Stingers had 12 hits - all singles - and drew 11 walks. 

It will be the third appearances in Grand Junction for the Stingers, who previously went in 2017 and 2021.

Elsewhere: Dixon Black's 10th-inning grand slam gave Wofford a walk-off win over East Tennessee State in the deciding game of a SoCon series. ETSU led 10-0 in the third inning ... Five home runs accounted for all but one run as No. 12 Wake Forest run-ruled No. 2 Clemson to complete an ACC series sweep ... Kevin Madden's grand slam capped a six-run eighth inning as College of Charleston assured itself of finishing no worse than second in the CAA standings ... Koby Kropf hit his 20th homer of the season and USC Upstate completed its Big South Conference schedule with a win over Longwood to clinch the series ...  Landon Slemp, Sam Swygert and Ben Hutchins combined to hold Presbyterian to four hits as The Citadel got its first weekend series win since mid-March ... Derek Bender's second homer of the game capped a 14-run outburst over the final three innings as  Coastal Carolina clinched a Sun Belt Conference series win in walk-off fashion in Game 2 of a doubleheader. It was retiring coach Gary Gilmore's final conference home game.  JoJo Jackson's ninth-inning homer lifted Georgia State to victory in the opener ... Matt Gallant and Evan Truitt combined for a four-hit shutout as Charleston Southern took the rubber game of its series with Radford with its second shutout of the weekend ... High Point scored three runs in the eighth inning to overtake Winthrop in a Big South series finale.

* ACC: Pitt beat No. 8 Florida State, 9-7, in the completion of Saturday's suspended game, but the Seminoles won the second game, 15-4, on the strength of an eight-run first inning ... Georgia Tech rallied to get a series win over No. 9 Duke, 8-6 ... No. 11 North Carolina whipped Louisville, 16-7 ... No. 23, N.C. State trounced No. 10 Virginia, 13-5 ... Virginia Tech salvaged Game 3 against Miami with a 13-4 win ... Toledo beat Notre Dame, 5-2 ... Boston College won the series finale of Maryland, 2-1.

* SEC: Vanderbilt salvaged the final game of the series with a 3-0 win over No. 1 Tennessee. It snapped a nine-game Vandy losing streak in the rivalry ... No. 3 Texas A&M won the series finale over Ole Miss, 6-0 ... No. 4 Kentucky scored four runs in the 10th and held to take a series win over Florida, 7-5 ...
