SEC Tournament
* South Carolina 10, Alabama 5 - Dalton Reeves' grand slam gave South Carolina the lead and Chris Veach pitched a career-high 5 2/3 innings of shutout relief as the Gamecocks beat Alabama in a play-in game of the SEC Tournament.

Alabama took a 3-0 lead into the third inning, but Gavin Casas and Ethan Petry hit solo homers and Reeves gave Carolina the lead with his blast in a six-run third.

Veach came in with one out in the fourth inning and stymied Bama the rest of the way, giving a boost to USC's flagging hopes for an NCAA Tournament bid and snapping a six-game losing streak.

Cole Messina also homered and joined Petry and Blake Jackson in getting three hits for Carolina (34-21).

The Gamecocks advance to play Arkansas in the double-elimination portion of the tournament on Wednesday.

Sun Belt Conference Tournament
* Coastal Carolina 5, Georgia State 1 - Sam Antonacci's two-run single gave the Chanticleers the lead in the seventh inning and Dean Mihos and Zack Beach homered in the eighth as the Coastal advanced into the double-elimination portion of the tournament.

Antonacci gave the Chanticleers the lead with a two-run, two-out flare to left field in the seventh and Mihos and Beach provided insurance in the eighth as coach Gary Gilmore's team extended its winning streak to five and enhanced its prospects of getting an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament.
