* ACC: Even though it was swept by Wake Forest, Clemson (17-10) has a 1 1/2-game lead over Florida State and N.C. State (both 15-11) in the Atlantic Division with one series left. Wake Forest (15-12) is two games back. Two wins against Boston College at Doug Kingsmore Stadium next weekend would clinch the division title and No. 2 ACC Tournament seed for Clemson regardless of how the pursuing teams do. The Tigers have a mathematical chance to tie North Carolina (20-7) for the overall No. 1 seed, but I saw on an ACC Network graphic a couple of weeks back that the Tar Heels have the tiebreaker edge. The Heels have clinched the Coastal Division title. Relevant series next weekend: Boston College (8-19) at Clemson; Georgia Tech (14-13) at Florida State; Wake Forest at N.C. State
* Big South: High Point and Presbyterian (both 15-6) share first place with one series remaining. USC Upstate (16-8) completed its conference schedule on Sunday and would lose a tiebreaker to both High Point and PC, so the Spartans' only path to the top seed for the four-team tournament is for the Panthers and Blue Hose to get swept by Gardner-Webb (8-13) and UNC Asheville (10-11). Charleston Southern (11-10) holds a one-game lead over UNCA (10-11) in the race for the final tournament spot and also holds the tiebreaker. GW and Longwood (8-13) could tie Charleston Southern for fourth, but the Buccaneers hold the tiebreaker over both. Relevant series next weekend: Charleston Southern at Winthrop (6-14); High Point at Gardner-Webb; Longwood at Radford (6-14); UNC Asheville at Presbyterian.
* Coastal Athletic Association: UNCW (19-5) holds a half-game lead over College of Charleston (18-5) for the regular-season title and top seed in the tournament with one weekend left. The Cougars have played one less game because of a rainout against Towson. Charleston's series win over Northeastern (15-9) means the Cougars will finish no worse than second. Relevant series next weekend: College of Charleston at Elon (10-14); UNCW at Delaware (14-10).
* SEC: The good news for South Carolina (13-14) was it didn't give up double-digit runs to Georgia on Sunday -- because there was no game. The Gamecocks are in fourth place in the East and seventh place overall in the seeding race for the conference tournament with one weekend remaining. Carolina is two games behind sixth-place Mississippi State, a game ahead of Alabama and Vanderbilt (12-15) and two games up on Florida and Ole Miss (11-16). LSU (10-17) has a mathematical chance to tie USC, so the Gamecocks could drop way down in the pecking order with a bad final weekend. Kentucky (20-7) has a one-lead over Tennessee (19-8) for the East Division title, as well as a one-game lead over West leader Arkansas (19-8) for the overall No. 1 seed. Texas A&M (17-10) must sweep Arkansas to win the West. Relevant series next weekend: Arkansas at Texas A&M; Alabama at Auburn (6-21); Florida at Georgia; Ole Miss at LSU; Missouri (8-19) at Mississippi State; South Carolina at Tennessee; Vanderbilt at Kentucky
* Southern: Samford (13-5) is percentage points ahead of UNCG (15-6), which completed its conference schedule season on Sunday. UNCG will take the regular-season title if Samford does not sweep against Wofford (10-7). The Terriers are in fifth place, but climb into a top four seed with a sweep. Western Carolina (11-7) is a half-game up on the Terriers. East Tennessee State (13-8) has completed its conference schedule. The Citadel (1-17) will finish eighth. Relevant series next weekend: The Citadel at Mercer (5-12); Western Carolina at VMI (6-12); Wofford at Samford.
* Sun Belt: Louisiana (21-6) clinched the top seed for the conference tournament because it has the tiebreaker over Southern Miss (18-9), the only team with a chance to tie the Ragin' Cajuns. Coastal Carolina (13-14) moved into a three-way tie for seventh with South Alabama and Old Dominion. Georgia Southern and James Madison (both 15-12) share fifth, with Appalachian State (15-11-1) in fourth by a half game. Georgia State and Texas State (12-15) share 10th place, so 11 teams are jostling for the 10 tournament spots. Relevant series next weekend: Coastal Carolina at Marshall (9-18); Georgia Southern at Appalachian State; James Madison at Troy (17-10); Old Dominion at Georgia State; South Alabama at Louisiana; Texas State at Southern Miss.
