Report: Beckley returns to Bulldogs

Seth Eisberg of WCIV TV in Charleston reports on X that former The Citadel player and assistant coach David Beckley will be joining coach first-year coach Russell Triplett's staff as recruiting coordinator.

Beckley, a 1996 graduate and 2023 inductee into the school's athletic hall of fame, served as an assistant coach at The Citadel for 17 years under Fred Jordan.

Beckley most recently has been coaching at James Island.

Kuhn reflects on house fire

Eisberg also offered an update on Charleston Southern coach Karl Kuhn, whose home was destroyed by a fire caused by a lightning strike earlier this year.
