Cannarella honored

Clemson outfielder Cam Cannarella recently received the school's Brandon Streeter Award,
given to a student-athlete who has overcome injury or illness to perform at a high level on the field of competition.

As a sophomore, Cannarella hit .337 with 11 homers and 60 RBIs. He was playing with a shoulder injury suffered in the fourth game of the season. His condition prevented him from sliding head-first or stealing bases.
