* Spartanburg Methodist has adjusted this weekend's Appalachian Athletic Conference home series with Columbia International over weather concerns. The teams are now scheduled to play a doubleheader at 1 p.m. Thursday and a single game at noon Saturday at Mooneyham Baseball Field on the SMC campus. The Pioneers and Rams are the on S.C. baseball members of the AAC.

* Coastal Carolina has moved the starting time of Saturday's home series finale against South Alabama to 11 a.m.

* South Carolina has not won a game on an opponent's field this season. The lone win away from Founders Park was against Wofford at Fifth Third Park in Spartanburg. Wofford was the home team, but the Terriers play other home games at Russell C. King Field.

* Dylan Johnson became College of Charleston's career leader in runners caught stealing when he threw his 43rd runner during Sunday's loss at Campbell. He tied Erven Roper for the record earlier in the week.

* Southern Wesleyan has set a school record for stolen bases in a season with 105 in 35 games entering Tuesday's game against Augusta. The previous record was 102 steals in 2008. Tristan Tillman is the individual leader with 25

* Coastal Carolina is off to a 9-0 start in conference play for the first time since 2010, when it was in the Big South Conference. The Chants have won 31 straight against Sun Belt Conference teams.

* Junior varsity teams from Barton, Belmont Abbey, Ferrum and Southern Wesleyan have advanced to the semifinals of the Conference Carolinas Developmental Championship April 13 in Florence.

Belmont Abbey, Ferrum and Southern Wesleyan won their respective pods, while Barton advanced as the top second-place team based on fewest runs allowed.

Barton and Belmont Abbey will play in the first semifinal at noon, with Southern Wesleyan and Ferrum meeting at 3 p.m. The two winners play for the championship at 6 p.m. All games are at Sparrow Stadium and will stream on the Conference Carolinas Digital Network.
