* Briefly: Chazz Grossington's 10th-inning single capped Winthrop's (27-13, 10-2 Big South) comeback from four runs down to complete a series sweep of USC Upstate (19-22, 8-10). The Eagles forced extra innings with three runs in the ninth - capped by Colin Crowley's two-run homer, his third hit of the game ... Niko Brini  and Lucas Manning hit two home runs and Ben Timblin hit a grand slam as Wofford (29-11) run-ruled UNC Asheville (16-24) for the third straight day to win its eighth straight game. All three hitters drove in four runs apiece ... No. 17 Mississippi State (30-10, 10-8 SEC) scored an unearned run in the 11th inning to complete a sweep at South Carolina (19-22, 5-13).  Talmadge LeCroy had two singles, a walk and an RBI for the Gamecocks, who struck out 44 times in the series ... Georgia State (20-21, 8-10 Sun Belt) scored six runs in the eighth inning on 2 hits, 3 hit batsmen, 2 walks and 2 stolen bases to knock off No. 7 Coastal Carolina (28-11,15-3) ...  A seven-run second inning put USC Sumter (29-18, 14-12 Region 10) in command and the Fire Ants won the series over Florence-Darlington Tech (42-10, 20-7) via run rule. Carew Bates hit two homers and drove in five runs and Ryan Piekutoski added a homer and three RBI for Sumter. Jebb Britt pitched a complete game ... Carson Bryant (4 innings) and  Kaden Myers (5) combined to shut out William & Mary (16-22, 7-11 CAA) as College of Charleston (19-20, 10-8) took the final game of a road series ... Charleston Southern (22-16, 7-8 Big South) took the lead with an unearned run in the eighth to take the series finale against High Point (26-13, 11-4) ... Lander (27-18, 20-10 Peach Belt) completed a sweep of USC Beaufort (13-31, 4-23) with its third run-rule win ... Jonathan Olmedo was 3-for-4 for 2 walks, 2 runs scored, 3 RBI, a stolen base, a win and 7 strikeouts in 4 2/3 innings of relief as Benedict (19-10, 17-10 SIAC) completed a sweep of Tuskegee (11-29, 8-20) with a run-rule victory ... USC Union (28-19, 11-15 Region 10) solidified its hold on fourth place by completing a sweep of USC Lancaster (22-23, 9-17). Brett Boone and Markus Kirksey hit two home runs apiece for the Bantams ... USC Aiken (33-13, 19-8 Peach Belt) built a six-run lead after 3 1/2 innings  and held off Georgia College (18-25, 11-16) ... Gaston College (46-3, 24-3 Region 10) clinched the regular-season championship and top seed for the Region 10 Tournament with a pair of run-rules win over USC Salkehatchie (3-44, 1-25) in the opener of a doubleheader ... East Tennessee State (25-12, 8-4 SoCon) took the rubber game of the series with The Citadel (18-21, 4-8) with four runs in the eighth to invoke the run rule ... Presbyterian (9-32, 5-10 Big South) scored five runs in the eighth to tie the score, but Longwood (23-17, 8-7) scored a run in the bottom of the inning for the victory ... Flagler (30-14, 17-10 Peach Belt) completed a sweep of Claflin (4-33, 1-26) with a run-rule win.

No. 2 Georgia Tech salvaged the series finale at No. 3 North Carolina, 5-2 ... No. 8 Florida State finished a sweep of Notre Dame, 6-4 ... N.C. State avoided at sweep against Wake Forest, 6-5 ... Stanford took the finale against Miami, 14-6 ... Louisville beat California, 8-5 ... Virginia Tech nipped Pitt, 6-5.
