* Briefly: No. 14 Florida State (36-15, 17-10 ACC) scored three runs in the second inning and held on the beat Clemson (30-22, 9-18) in the rubber game of the series ... Will Tippett homered for the second straight day and College of Charleston (25-25, 15-12 CAA) evened its record by completing a sweep at  Elon (19-31, 10-20) ... Henry Zenor tripled, homered, walked twice and drove in five runs as USC Upstate (25-27, 13-11 Big South) took the deciding game of a series at Presbyterian (11-41, 7-14) ... Charleston Southern (28-19, 12-9 Big South) scored 13 runs in the sixth inning and wrapped up a sweep of Longwood (28-23, 10-11). Kain Collins had two hits, walked, stole three bases, scored twice and drove in three for the Buccaneers ... Old Dominion (27-24, 13-14 Sun Belt) ended No. 8 Coastal Carolina's (34-17, 20-7) streak of 16 consecutive conference series wins ... No. 19 Alabama (35-15, 16-11 SEC) survived a late comeback by South Carolina (22-30, 7-20) to complete a series sweep and hand the Gamecocks their eight straight loss. The 30 losses set a school record ... East Tennessee State (30-19, 10-8 SoCon) scored five runs in the third inning and salvaged the last game of its series at Wofford (33-18, 11-7) ... High Point (34-17, 15-6 Big South) built a two-game lead over Winthrop (30-21 13-9) in the conference standings with three games left by polishing off a series sweep.
