Anderson College has announced the signing of six players -- five from South Carolina -- during the early signing period. The South Carolinians are Chanler Cox (Hanahan), T.J. Estes (Rock Hill), Jake Long (Anderson/Westside), Tony Price (Columbia) and Erick Sanderson (Hanahan).
USC assistant Holbrook praised
Kendall Rogers of Rivals.com calls South Carolina first-year coach Chad Holbrook the best assistant coach in the SEC. In a mailbag session, he also lists Clemson's Tom Riginos one of the top assistants in the ACC and ranks the SEC and ACC 1-2 as best conferences in the country.
