Yeah, I admit it. I've already started surfing the Internet looking for preseason college baseball polls. Sure, it's early, but 70-plus degree days like we had in Upstate South Carolina Dec. 18 make it easy to long for the beginning of the season.
Maybe it won't be much longer before we have something to discuss. Collegiate Baseball Newspaper released its preseason poll for 2008 on Dec. 21, 2007.
Wouldn't it be great to get some fuel for the collegiate hot stove league before Christmas. I can dream, can't I?
