    Georgia State's 2010 schedule includes a Feb. 23 home game against USC Upstate and a visit to Spartanburg to play the Spartans the next day.

    Miami (Ohio) opens its 2010 schedule with three-game visit to the Upstate. Miami plays at Clemson Feb. 19, faces Furman Feb. 20, and plays Michigan State at Fluor Field in Greenville Feb. 21. One of the Drive's executives is a Michigan State grad.

    Former University of South Carolina play Justin Smoak went 1-for-5 and drove in two runs as Team USA beat the Netherlands, 8-2, in its final third-round game of the World Cup. Next up is the title game Sunday morning against Cuba.
