Alabama has officially announced the hiring of Kyle Bunn from Clemson to be pitching coach.

  • Crim caps big year
    Former The Citadel star Matt Crim may have had the best first pro season of any state player selected in the June draft, and he capped his rookie league stint with a bang. He pitched a four-hit shutout for the Danville Braves against Elizabethton in the final game of the Appalachian League playoffs. Crim, a 21st-round pick by Atlanta, had a 10-2 record and 3.18 ERA in being named league pitcher of the year.
