Moskos struggles in Rising Stars Game

Former Clemson standout Danny (Daniel) Moskos had a rough outing in Saturday's Rising Stars game in the Arizona Fall League. The Pittsburgh Pirates farmhand allowed five hits and four runs in two-thirds of an inning in an appearance for the East stars. He struck out one and allowed a home run to the first batter he faced, Carlos Triunfel of the West.

But Moskos' night wasn't as bad as that of Mike Minor, a Braves prospect out of Vanderbilt. He started for the West and allowed seven runs in two-thirds of an inning.

The West bullpen didn't allow another run and the team rallied to win, 8-7.

Moskos spent most of the 2009 season as a starter at AA Altoona, but has been used exclusively as a reliever for Scottsdale during his AFL work.
