First baseman Brian Chase of Campbellsville (Ky.) University has been named preseason NAIA All-American by an NAIA selection committee. His coach is Beauford Sanders, a Woodruff native and former coach at North Greenville. Sanders guided the Tigers to the NAIA World Series in 2009.
