  • Ray Tanner Foundation fundraiser
    TheBigSpur.com reports there will be a fundraiser in the Columbia area Thursday, Nov. 12, to support the Ray Tanner Foundation. The foundation is "dedicated to the betterment of economically and medically disadvantaged children and their families," according to its Web site. It has been involved in several projects, among them building a Miracle League field in the Columbia area so people with special needs can enjoy baseball.
