News Digest, December 8, Part 2

SEC, ACC ranked 1-2
Kendall Rogers of Rivals.com ranks the Southeastern Conference as the best baseball conference in the country, with the Atlantic Coast Conference a close second. He also ranks the Southern Conference eighth, ahead of the Big East and Big Ten, among others. He has the Atlantic Sun 17th and the Big South 18th. The Big South seems a little low, to me, but Kendall points out that Coastal Carolina has dominated in recent years.
