The season is 30 days away!

It's 30 days until Feb. 1, the first day I've found any college games involving state teams.

I've e-mailed a brief questionnaire to coaches at each school and asked them to send their responses. As I receive the responses, I intend to post one a day on my blog to serve as a brief preview of each team. I hope coaches for all 31 college programs in the state will respond, but my 37 years in the newspaper business have taught me to not overexpect.

I'm still on the lookout for the schedules I'm missing, and I'm trying to track down TV/radio/internet broadcast coverage plans.
