Brian Goodwin, a sophomore outfielder at North Carolina, has been suspended from the baseball team for the 2011 season. The Tar Heels have a three-game ACC home series against Clemson and a home game against Coastal Carolina.

LSU's Matty Ott is No. 60 on College Baseball Daily's countdown of the top 100 college baseball players for 2011. The Bayou Bengals do not play USC in the regular season.
Spartans foe No. 61
Paul Holliman of East Tennessee State is No. 61 on College Baseball Daily's top 100. The Buccaneers play a three-game series at USC Upstate in March.
