USC, Clemson, Coastal among attendance leaders.

South Carolina ranked fourth nationally in average attendance for home games in 2010 according to NCAA figures announced Thursday. The Gamecocks averaged 6,758 per home game. Clemson was seventh nationally at 4,694 and Coastal Carolina 42nd at 1,318.

LSU led the nation for the 15th straight season, averaging 10,673 per game. All 12 SEC schools are in the top 38.

    The sixth annual Ray Tanner Foundation Auction and Benefit is set for Jan. 29 at Township Auditorium in Columbia. On the Website, the organization says it is "a non-profit organization dedicated to the betterment of economically and medically disadvantaged children and their families."
