Cal baseball still on life support?
The San Jose Mercury-News reports there's a chance the University of California baseball could be saved from being cut.

  • Roberts has perfect game
In case you missed it, Virginia's Will Roberts threw a perfect game as the Cavaliers beat George Washington, 2-0, on Tuesday. It was reportedly only the eighth nine-inning perfect game in NCAA history. I find that amazing.

    Projections added
CollegeBaseballDaily.com has made its weekly NCAA field projection. Virginia is the national No. 1 seed and South Carolina is No. 3. Interestingly, this week Clemson has lost its regional host role and is pegged to go to South Carolina. Coastal Carolina is tabbed for the Auburn regional and College of Charleston has fallen out of the projection.
