Regionals projected
SoutheasternBaseball.com recently made took a stab at projecting the postseason field for the NCAA tournament. USC is picked as a regional host and national No. 4 seed. Clemson is the only other state team in the projections.
Koumas sidelined
David Cloninger of GamecockCentral.com reported USC pitcher Forrest Koumas has been in the hospital after an allergic reaction to a peanut he ate on Monday.
