Spartanburg Methodist College baseball player Taylor Randall Childers was being held in a Spartanburg County detention facility Sunday on charges related to an alleged incident Friday at a Spartanburg apartment.
GoUpstate.com reports Childers is charged with first-degree burglary and second-degree assault with intent to commit criminal sexual conduct, according to arrest warrants and a Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office incident report.
Anyone facing charges is presumed innocent until proven otherwise.
