Six pitchers from South Carolina schools are among the 75 players on the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association's preseason stopper of the year watch list.
Scott Firth of Clemson, Aaron Burke and Ryan Connolly of Coastal Carolina, Tyler Webb of South Carolina, Chad Sobotka of USC Upstate and Eric Eck of Wofford are on the list.
Twenty-two players on the list are from the five NCAA Division I conferences (ACC, Atlantic Sun, Big South, Southeastern and Southern) with South Carolina schools as members.
