* SEBaseball.com has Clemson and South Carolina as regional hosts - but not national seeds - in its May 7 projection of the NCAA Tournament field if the teams were selected on current results. Coastal Carolina is projected as a No. 2 seed at a regional in Raleigh.

* Baseball America's projections have Clemson and USC as on the bubble - in - to be regional hosts.  It also has Coastal Carolina as safely in and projects the Southern Conference to be a one-bid league.

Pacers honored
USC Aiken's Kenny Thomas was named coach of the year and the Pacers' Sean Miller was named freshman of the year as part of the all-Peach Belt Conference team announced Tuesday. The conference tournament begins Wednesday at Dolny Stadium in Greenwood.
