Clemson has released its preview notes for the N.C. State series beginning Saturday. Neither No. 1 starter Daniel Gossett nor No. 3 starter Jake Long is listed as a probable pitcher in the series.
Both Gossett (shoulder tightness) and Long (tightness in back) are dealing with injuries. Matthew Crownover is listed as the Saturday starter and Zack Erwin for Sunday.
Monday's starter is listed as TBA, so Long might be a possibility there if his back condition has improved.
