Sand Sharks honored
USC Beaufort baseball player Erik Armstrong was presented the Jane T. Upshaw Outstanding Senior Student-Athlete Award Monday night at the school's annual athletics award banquet.
Armstrong also received the Iron Shark Award for baseball. J.J. Crespo was named offensive player of the year and Stephen Richards was named pitcher of the year.
