* Because of the threat of inclement weather (it's a weekend, so what's the surprise?) in eastern Tennessee, Newberry's Friday game against Carson-Newman has been moved to 1 p.m. Sunday. The South Atlantic Conference series now begins with a 1 p.m. doubleheader on Saturday.

* South Carolina's series opener at Arkansas on Thursday was postponed until part of a split doubleheader on Friday in Fayetteville, Ark. The schedule change means the game will not air on ESPNU.
