(Went 1-0 against Pfeiffer; went 1-0 against USC Aiken, went 3-0 against Anderson)

When Newberry lost the final two games of a South Atlantic Conference series at Carson-Newman April 5-6 the Wolves fell a game under .500 and appeared in danger of not making the SAC Tournament.

Fast-forward two weeks and coach Russell Triplett's squad is on a nine-game winning streak and the fourth-seed for the six-team SAC Tournament.

The Wolves (29-21) beat Pfeiffer and nationally ranked USC Aiken in mid-week games and punched their ticket to Forest City with a win at Anderson on Friday. They follows that with a doubleheader sweep on Saturday to complete a 5-0 week.
