Gossett honored
Clemson junior right-hander Daniel Gossett was named second-team Louisville Slugger all-American today by Collegiate Baseball. Gossett was the only player from a state school to make the squad.

College of Charleston has posted its preview notes for Gainesville regional in the NCAA Tournament. The Cougars face Florida on Friday.

Clemson has issued its notes on the Nashville regional beginning Friday, Matthew Crownover is the scheduled starting pitcher as the Tigers play Oregon.

Gress, Weber award finalists
Francis Marion's Dalton Gress and USC Upstate's Luke Weber are candidates for the 2014 TD Ameritrade Fan's Choice Award. A Facebook page says "the finalists for this award inspire their team, peers, and communities through their leadership, commitment, and pursuit of excellence on and off the field."
