Clemson sophomore Chris Okey has been named to the U.S. Collegiate National Team and will participate in several exhibition games this summer. College of Charleston pitcher Bailey Ober will travel with the team as an alternate.

Powell selected
Former major leaguer and current North Greenville coach Landon Powell has been selected for induction into the University of South Carolina's Athletic Hall of Fame. Powell played for USC for three years, helping the Gamecocks reach the College World Series each season.
