College of Charleston is favored to repeat as champion of the Colonial Athletic Association according to the coaches' preseason poll announced Wednesday.
The Cougars received eight of nine first-place votes -- coaches were not allowed to vote for their own teams.
Pitcher Bailey Ober and infielder Carl Wise of the College were voted to the preseason all-CAA team.
