Clemson-South Carolina game 3 TV may not be a slam dunk on DirecTV

Monday's rescheduled Game 3 of the Clemson-South Carolina baseball series is scheduled to air on the SEC Network's "alternate channel" so regular programming won't be interrupted. (What? Bump the Paul Finebaum Show?)

From my experience with DirecTV, the only time it ever carried the SEC Network's alternate channel -- 611-1 -- was during football season. So, unless someone from USC's athletic department or a bunch of fans from both schools remind DirecTV, I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't show up.

I'm going to contact DirecTV with a reminder, and suggest you do, too.

As a backup, DirecTV subscribers should be able to watch video streaming of the game through the WatchESPN app or online at ESPN3.
