Okey, Gonzalez on watch list
Clemson sophomore Chris Okey and Winthrop junior Roger Gonzalez are on the watch list for the Johnny Bench Award, given annually to the top catcher in college baseball.

Weather affects schedule (this is not an old note)
* Presbyterian has moved its Big South Conference home series with Gardner-Webb back by one day because of inclement weather.  The games will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, 1 p.m. Sunday and 3 p.m. Monday.

* Charleston Southern's Big South series at UNC Asheville also has been pushed back a day: 3 p.m. Saturday, 1 p.m. Sunday and 3 p.m. Monday.
Bucs

* Coker's SAC series at Lenoir-Rhyne has been pushed from Friday-Saturday to Saturday (4 p.m.) and Sunday (1 p.m. DH).
Cobras

* Winthrop's home series with Kennesaw State has been compacted to two days. The teams will play a doubleheader at 2 p.m. Saturday and a single game at 2 p.m. Sunday.
