Palmetto State Baseball team of the week, Feb. 15-21: USC Aiken

USC Aiken (4-0 for the week)
(went 1-0 vs. Wingate; went 3-0 vs. PBC rival Lander)

Lander and USC Aiken entered the weekend tied for first place very early in the Peach Belt Conference season.  USC Aiken swept the Bearcats to improve to 10-1 overall.

The Pacers never trailed in the first and third games of the series. Lander took a 2-0 lead after the first inning of the middle game on Saturday. That presaged an offensive bacchanalia. Brian Parreira's eighth-inning homer run provided the margin of USCA's 18-17 victory.
