Composite of 6 major national NCAA Division I polls, May 23

Each week, CollegeBaseballInsider.com posts a composite poll of five national NCAA Division I rankings. In the table below, I've added PerfectGame.org to the mix for a six-ranking composite.

Mississippi State  has replaced Florida as the composite No. 1 after the Gators lost two of three at LSU last weekend. The Bulldogs were No. 1 in three of the rankings. Texas A&M was No. 1 in two rankings and Florida remained atop one ranking.

South Carolina was eighth after being tied for eighth last week.

Clemson moved up two spots to 17th and Coastal Carolina moved up three spots to 19th in the rankings.

There are seven SEC teams and six ACC teams in the Top 25.

Points are awarded on a descending scale, from 25 points for a first-place vote to 1 for a 25th-place vote. Some polls ranked more than 25 teams, but I kept it at the top 25 for consistency's sake. In the event of ties, the points are divided evenly among the tied teams.
