FD Tech stars pace all-NJCAA Region 10 team

Florence-Darlington Tech's Rafi Vazquez was named NJCAA Region 10 player of the year and teammate Weston Rogers was selected pitcher of the year as part of the all-region baseball team announced Friday.

Vazquez and Rogers helped the Stingers win the regular-season championship and top seed for the league tournament beginning Saturday at Lexington County Stadium. Three teammates joined Vazquez and Rogers as first-team choices.

USC Salkehatchie's Charles "Bubba" Dorman was named coach of the year and Tristen Campbell of USC Sumter was selected relief pitcher of the year in voting by league coaches.
