State schedule, Feb. 11-17

The state's 11 NCAA Division teams begin their season this Friday, with 10 of the 11 schools opening at home.

Presbyterian, which plays at Alabama, is the lone DI school not at home.

Coastal Carolina traditionally opens its season with some sponsored tournaments, and that's the case again this week. Campbell, Maryland and Virginia Commonwealth visit Horry County for the Brittain Resorts Invitational.

USC Sumter plays host to a tournament at Riley Park, while Spartanburg Methodist makes its yearly visit to east central Alabama for a tournament hosted by Southern Union State.

North Greenville has a weekend home series with Nova Southeastern. Both teams are ranked in NCAA Division II preseason polls.

USC Union plays host to NJCAA Region 10 opponent USC Lancaster on Friday in a game that won't count in the region standings.
