Games of the day
It was a day for excitement in college baseball in the state. There were eight one-run games, with four of them ending in walk-off style. I opted to recognize the state's three walk-off winners, because all were trailing entering their final at-bat.

Coker 6, UNC Pembroke 5 - At Hartsville's New Field, the Cobras scored two runs in the ninth inning  on an error and a wild pitch to hand the No. 5 Braves their third loss in four days. UNCP scored single runs in its final three at-bats to take a 5-4 lead into the bottom of the ninth. A single, a walk and an error on a fielder's choice tied the score. A bases-loaded wild pitch scored Corbin Wright to move coach Fico Kondla's team to 11-5.

Limestone 6, Erskine 5, 10 innings - In Gaffney, the Saints tied the score in the eighth and then won their fifth straight game. After the Flying Fleet took a 5-4 lead, Limestone (10-6) tied the score on two walks, a hit batsman and a bases-loaded walk. Nick Love then ended the game with a single to center.

The Citadel 5, Charleston Southern 4 - Matthew Lively's two-run single down the left-field line gave the Bulldogs  (7-1) their only lead at Joseph P. Riley Jr. Park. Cade Conway led off the game with a homer and CSU led most of the game. In the ninth, Garrett Dill was was hit by a pitch and Phillips Daniels singled. Lively followed with a shot to score a pair of pinch-runners and hand the Bulldogs their second win over the Buccaneers in as many weeks.

Other one-run game winner
Columbia International 1, Bob Jones 0
- David Mora's second-inning sacrifice fly scored the game's only run at Miller Field and three pitchers made it stand up for the program's first-ever 1-0 victory, coming in its 204th game all time. J.T. Stanley went the first five innings, while Rodrigo Rodriguez and Colln Otte pitched two innings apiece to give the Rams (4-13) consecutive wins for the first time this season.

Tough-luck losers
Georgia 4, Presbyterian 3
- Charlie Condon doubled, homered and drew a bases-loaded walk in the eighth to give Georgia (8-0) a win over the Blue Hose in Athens. Joel Dragoo hit his sixth homer of the season to give PC a 2-0 lead in the first inning. Condon is hitting .625 this season and has had at least two hits in every game.

Charlotte 3, Wofford 2 - Noah Furcht's three-run homer in the bottom of the eighth inning pulled the 49ers past the Terriers. Former USC recruit Thad Ector was 2-for-4 with a run scored for Charlotte.

Queens 13, Winthrop 12 - The host Royals scored five runs in the seventh, three in the eighth to tie the score and won in the ninth on Tyler Cotto's leadoff homer.

Catawba 6, Newberry 5 - The Wolves scored three runs in the eighth and got the potential tying run to second in the ninth before falling to a South Atlantic Conference rival in a game that doesn't count in the conference standings.
