Gamecocks set workout

South Carolina will scrimmage at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Founders Park as it continues preparations for its Feb. 14 opener against Sacred Heart.

Fluor Field will be busy

The Greenville Drive posted a graphic on X touting the college and high school games being played at Fluor Field this season. At least 14 college teams - including nine state teams - will play there this season. Games start Feb. 28 with Michigan State playing Harvard.

There is no HBCU Classic this season, but Drive General Manager Eric Jarinko said there will be an HBCU College Fair at the Drive's April 19 game as part of events honoring the Greenville Black Spinners, a prominent part of the Black community during the segregation era.

The Drive's graphic also lists 12 high school teams on the schedule. The team has been a great partner to so many groups in the area since it arrived.
