Coker (2-0 for the week)
(beat Emory & Henry twice)
The Cobras were the last team in the state to play a game this week, but waiting until Sunday didn't cool the Cobras off. In a series delayed and moved from Virginia to Hartsville because of weather, Coker beat Emory & Henry twice,11-8 and 10-0, to improve its winning streak to nine games.
Coach Fico Kondla's squad has reached double figures in hits and runs in four of its last five games. The Cobras also kept the base paths smoking, stealing 12 bases on Sunday to give them 68 in 15 games.
Cody Chapman struck out 10 and allowed two hits in a seven-inning shutout in Game.
Up next: Emory & Henry on Monday in Hartsville
