Cunningham to start new program

Voorhees assistant coach JaMorri Cunningham has been hired to start a baseball program at Johnson & Wales University in Charlotte.

Cunningham is a Voorhees graduate and former Tigers player.  Johnson & Wales will field its first team for the 2026 season.

Schedule changes

* Coker's scheduled Tuesday night game at UNC Pembroke has been to 2 p.m. at CarolinaBank Field in Florence.
* Limestone has moved first pitch of Friday's home fame with Emory & Henry to 5 p.m.
* Southern Wesleyan's scheduled Wednesday home game with Georgia College has been moved up to 5 p.m. Tuesday.

The Historically Black Colleges and University Athletic Conference is adding Huston-Tillotson University and Paul Quinn College as member schools.  Voorhees is a current member. Huston-Tillotson fields a baseball team, but Paul Quinn does not.
