Briefly: Clemson (27-5) survived a ninth-inning threat by Georgia Southern for a win at SRP PArk in North Augusta. The Eagles scored four runs in the ninth and got the potential tying run on base before Lucas Mahlstedt got the final out. Jack Crighton and Josh Paino hasd two hits apiece for Clemson ... Ethan Petry singled, hit his 52nd career homer, was intentionally walked twice, scored two runs and drove in two as South Carolina (18-12) beat Presbyterian (14-16) to snap a seven-game losing streak ... Sebastian Alexander singled, homered twice and drove in seven runs as Coastal Carolina (21-8) run-ruled Campbell ... Andrew Mannelly doubled and drove in three runs as Wofford (21-9) beat USC Upstate (14-14) in front of 3,662 fans in the first game at the new Fifth Third Park in downtown Spartanburg ... Dariyan Pendergrass and Will Baumhofer drove in four runs each and College of Charleston (16-11) rode a nine-run sixth inning to a victory over Charleston Southern (14-12) ... Daniel Barcena struck out nine in 5 2/3 innings as Francis Marion (27-9) beat Lander (24-11) and extended its winning streak to eight games ... Limestone (18-18) scored seven runs in the sixth inning to break open a close game at Erskine (16-19) ... Gabe Natividad doubled twice, walked twice, scored twice and drove in four runs and Winthrop (16-14) used a six-run eighth innings to complete a season sweep of North Carolina A&T ... USC Beaufort (5-27) hit eight doubles in outslugging Edward Waters ... Collin Ingle had five hits, including a home run, and drove in five as USC Union (24-12) got a pair of 10-run wins over the Columbia International JV ... Jake Bradley doubled in the game's only run in the sixth inning to hand Coker (20-15) its sixth straight loss ... Morehouse swept Morris (1-26) despite two hits apiece from Jamure Manigo, Daniel Roberts and Jonathan Warren ... St. Andrews swept Voorhees (13-17) as the Tigers losing streak reached six. Yojairon Juan had two hits in each game for Voorhees ... Gordon State beat held USC Salkehatchie to five hits in two games and extended the Indians' losing streak to 24 games.
