* North Carolina 14, Clemson 4 - The Tar Heels (42-12) jumped on the Tigers (44-16) early and coasted to the ACC Championship. UNC scored in each of the first three innings and broke the game open with an eight-run fifth en route to a 14-0 lead.. Cam Cannarella broke up the shutout bid with a two-run homer in the seventh and extended his hitting streak to 19 games. The Tigers are likely to be one of 16 regional hosts and could land one of eight national seeds.

* Coastal Carolina 7, Southern Mississippi 5 - A five-run fifth inning gave the Chanticleers (48-11) the lead and they held off the Golden Eagles to take the Sun Belt Championship. Wells Sykes had two hits and drove in three runs for Coastal, which is expected to be a regional host and may be under consideration for a top eight national seed. Caden Bodine, Walker Mitchell and Colby Thorndyke also had two hits apiece. The Chanticleers won their 18th straight game and ended USM's 18-game winning streak.
NJCAA World Series
* Florence-Darlington Tech 16, Shelton State 4 - The Stingers (52-10) scored the game's first five runs and added an 11-run sixth to win their tournament opener by run rule. Patrick Evans was 4-for-5 with two doubles and four RBI. Josh Campos singled, tripled and homered and joined Zack Hunt in driving in three runs. Jackson Cionek and Diego Garcia added two RBI apiece in support of Mike Joyce's complete game. FD Tech plays against at 9 p.m. Tuesday.
