* Lake Land 20, Florence-Darlington Tech 8, 5 innings - Lake Land (45-19) scored 12 runs - all after two were out - over the first three innings to run-rule the Stingers (52-11) and send them into the losers bracket game at 4 p.m. Wednesday against Salt Lake. Tech fell behind 5-0 after a half inning, but answered with three in the bottom of the inning. Lake Lake added four in the second inning and the Stingers got no closer than three after that.
