Among the highlights are three tournaments:
* North Greenville, No. 6 nationally in the DivIIBaseball.com rankings, plays three games in the Houston Winter Invitational at the home of the Houston Astros. Included is a Sunday game against No. 3 East Stroudsburg State.

* Claflin plays three games in the Willie Mays HBCU Invitational at Rickwood Field in Birmingham.
* Florence-Darlington Tech heads to Florida for the second straight weekend to play in the Visit Panama City Beach Classic.
Elsewhere, six teams will play their first games under new head coaches. That includes the Lander-Erskine series, where Bearcats coach Nick Popp goes up against Flying Fleet co-coaches Scotty Bateman and Jimmy Prince.
Also, Keith Gorman and USC Aiken meet Mars Hill, Brian Lewis and USC Beaufort face Davis & Elkins and Tyler Miller and Spartanburg Methodist play Cumberlands. The new coach is at home in all three series.
The sixth new coach at USC Sumter's Will Thompson, who moved up after serving as an assistant to the now-retired Tim Medlin. The Fire Ants play host to Cleveland CC in Sumter's Riley Park.
