Briefly: Tristan Strickland hit a pair of two-run homers in Game 2 as No. 8 Florence-Darlington Tech opened its season with a doubleheader split with No. 21 Lake Land (Ill.) in Fort Myers, Fla. The teams met on the Florida Gulf Coast after this weekend's winter storm canceled a junior college tournament in Arlington, Texas. Jackson Cook had a single, four walks and seven stolen bases as he scored six runs in the twinbill. The Stingers are coming off a Region 10 champion and NJCAA World Series berth in 2025.

What a great game from Tristan. Is there a way to watch these JUCO games online?

It's on a school-by-school basis, but most of the S.C. jucos have not done it consistently in the past. I'll try to share info when I find it. I do know Gaston College usually does its home games - and does them well.
