Former Newberry coach Tim Medlin has been named head coach at USC Sumter. Medlin also has managed the Columbia Blowfish summer collegiate team. Medlin replaces Tom Fleenor, who left the two-year program to become head coach at Lenoir-Rhyne.

Team USA sweeps Cuba
USC junior Grayson Greiner had a single as the U.S. Collegiate National Team beat Cuba, 5-3, in Durham Tuesday night to complete a sweep of the five-game series. Greiner started four of the five games in the series, going 1-for-14.
