Sanders, Privette get preseason honors

University of South Carolina pitcher Will Sanders is the only player from a state school to be named to Baseball America's preseason all-America team which was announced Monday. The junior right-hander was a second-team choice. Sanders and Will Privette of College of Charleston were second-team choices by D1Baseball.com and the only state players on that squad.

Crusaders get preseason honors

Marek Chlup, John Michael Faile and Reece Fields of North Greenville have been named to the preseason Division II  all-Southeastern Region team by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers' Association. So far, the only information I have is from North Greenville, so players from other state schools may be listed as well. If I find more, I'll update this.
