Game of the day
Erskine 10, Barry 4, 14 innings
Ben Maskin hit a three-run homer to left and Dale Francis Jr. added a two-run shot in the same area later in the 14th inning as the Flying Fleet completed a comeback win at Barry.

Nine of Erskine's runs came as part of four home runs.

Josean Sanchez's leadoff homer put Erskine up in the first inning, but Barry scored two runs in the second and one in the third.

The Flying Fleet's Wilmis Castro tied the score with a two-run shot in the fourth, but the hosts tied took a 4-3 lead on a wild pitch in the fifth.

That's the way score stayed until Jorge Pascual led off the Fleet ninth with a homer.

Both teams threatened several times over the next few innings, but no one broke through until the 14th. David Hernandez reached on a one-out single and Sanchez was safe on an error.

Maskin then mashed a 1-0 pitch to left to put the Flying Fleet up 7-4. Christian Rivera walked and Francis connected on the first pitch he saw to make it 9-4. Daniel Hernandez added an RBI single later in the inning.
