* Florence-Darlington Tech 9, Southern Nevada 8 - The Stingers scored four runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to stay in the winner's bracket.

Zack Hunt's second-inning homer gave the Stingers (53-10) a 1-0 lead, but Southern Nevada pushed out to an 8-2 edge with three runs in the sixth.
Tech got a two-run double from Mac James and an RBI groundout from Jay Douglas to make the score 8-5 after six.
In the eighth, Josh Campos had an RBI sacrifice fly and Ethan Plyler tied the score with a two-run single to right. Devin Mitchell's sacrifice fly put the Stingers ahead.
Mike Joyce pitched 2 1/3 shutout innings in relief to give the Stingers a chance to catch up.
Rom Kellis joined Hunt, James and Mitchell in getting two hits apiece.
The Stingers' next game is at 9 p.m. Tuesday against Blinn.
